What began as curiosity gradually became a way of understanding how people live, move, and connect through environments, objects, and everyday rhythms.

  • Bruchköbel was quiet — fields and familiar roads looping through calm routine.

    At home, my father’s metal workshop was all hum and heat, drawers that clicked shut with finality, and tools arranged with deliberate order.

    It wasn’t simply craftsmanship — it was discipline, rhythm, and care. From him, I learned that precision is a form of respect, and that every object has its rightful place.

  • Frankfurt introduced pace. It was my first real encounter with structured luxury retail and the environments surrounding it — spaces where lighting, materials, and human interaction were considered with unusual precision.

    What stayed with me most was not status, but atmosphere. The quiet confidence of well-considered spaces. The way people moved differently depending on what surrounded them.

    It was the beginning of my interest in how design subtly shapes behavior, emotion, and experience.

  • Paris didn’t ask me to arrive fluent — it asked me to arrive open. I landed with little understanding of the language, yet slowly found my way through instinct, curiosity, and one well-timed connection that led to a former maid’s apartment on the ground floor of a Haussmann building.

    The window faced a quiet lightwell where sound traveled slowly and time felt suspended.

    Every street carried its own rhythm; every hallway its own pace. It became an early lesson in tact, adaptation, and cultural nuance.

    My first real understanding of savoir-faire began here — not academically, but through everyday life.

  • London brought a different kind of structure. I worked briefly in fine jewelry at Selfridges, where attention to detail extended far beyond the objects themselves.

    I became fascinated by the rhythm of interaction : timing, restraint, presence, and the way environments could influence how people felt without demanding attention.

    It was an early introduction to hospitality, ceremony, and the quieter psychology behind luxury experiences — lessons that stayed with me long after I moved on.

  • Turin was slower, softer. The city moved with a quiet steadiness — sun across arcades, long walks, empty courtyards, the sound of my own thoughts returning more clearly.

    For the first time, I allowed myself not to know exactly where things were heading. I walked more, observed more, and became comfortable sitting with uncertainty.

    What I found there wasn’t new — but it felt newly mine. A quieter understanding of myself began to emerge.

  • Berlin was contrast : steel and softness, structure and experimentation, intensity and openness.

    I arrived while balancing full-time work alongside the final year of my studies, learning how to remain focused even when everything around me moved quickly.

    The city gave me room to refine my own way of thinking and working — quieter, more intentional, and increasingly independent.

    It was here that many of the ideas, systems, and long-term directions that continue to shape my work today first began to take form.

  • Back in London now, but differently.

    I live in a home shaped less by display and more by coherence — modular systems, honest materials, soft light, and objects chosen for how they support everyday life over time.

    Camaleonda curves meet USM logic. Mornings begin quietly; evenings settle naturally into a slower rhythm.

    What matters to me now is not accumulation, but clarity : environments that adapt without losing their character, objects that age honestly, and spaces that support a calmer, more intentional way of living.
